6 studes caught in ‘sex scandal’

in the roof top..

Wednesday, July 23, 2008

Six drunken students of Argao National High School were caught allegedly “having sex” at the rooftop of an abandoned school building last Monday afternoon during class hours.

PO1 Vivian Tamayo of the Women’s Desk of Argao Police Station disclosed that PO2 Manny Flores of the 2nd Battalion of the Regional Mobile Group in Moalboal allegedly caught the intoxicated minor students “misbehaving.”

Tamayo said Flores heard giggles and somebody asking to videotape what they are doing, which prompted him to go inside the building and check.

At the rooftop, Flores allegedly saw the six students— still in their school uniforms, two were about to perform the sexual act and the four others watching and videotaping it.

Upon sensing the cop’s presence, the students scampered to different directions, but Flores was able to get hold of the cellular phone, which they reportedly used to videotape the incident.

However, when police checked, they no longer found the footage saved in the cellular phone. The students also denied they engaged in the alleged illicit acts.

Two of the students were reportedly on their first year, two on their third year and another two are on their fourth year. They were held for a while at the police station and later turned over to one of their teachers.

Right after the incident, the school principal Roger Bagonbagon talked with the students’ parents.

Argao Mayor Edsel Galeos, for his part, said he is saddened and shocked of the news.

He said the building is used by the Sangguniang Kabataan during weekends and is unused during weekdays.
